Organic and Biodynamically Certified Sunchokes.

The Jerusalem artichoke, also called sunroot, sunchoke, wild sunflower, topinambur, or earth apple, is a species of sunflower native to central North America.

Sunchokes are mild, sweet, and crunchy, with a nutty taste similar to water chestnuts, hazelnuts, and jicama.

Sunchokes are a great source of prebiotics, too. Prebiotics are an indigestible type of fiber that helps feed the good bacteria in your gut.

Raw sunchokes should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from light. They may also be stored in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator, wrapped in paper towels to absorb humidity, and sealed in a plastic bag.
